When he wakes up, Hajime finds himself trapped in a classroom with fifteen other new "Ultimate" students. that is, until he arrives at the school for his first day and suddenly falls unconscious. Hajime Hinata, the new guy, has always admired the school and is eagerly looking forward to attending. Much like its predecessor, the game begins with a new student starting their first day at Hope's Peak Academy, an elite private school that only accepts the best of the best of the best, no matter how eclectic their field. It is the second main game in the Danganronpa franchise following the Danganronpa Zero books. It just won’t be the same after such a gratifying and perfect conclusion for a series that managed to always ramp up the stakes.- Hajime Hinata Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair ( Super Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Academy in Japan), is the sequel to Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, released in 2012. If it does, I’ll give it an open-minded chance I guess.
It does not need to continue, as much as it is very likely it might in the coming years now. These games are important to me, and they were formative for the person I grew into and the content I’ve fallen in love with since.
I love the Danganronpa games, despite their myriad of flaws and occasional problematic content. Vita copies go for ridiculous prices, and I know maybe two other people who aren’t me that still own that system. If Nintendo Switch is your console of choice, and you’re desperate to see what you missed a decade ago, you might as well check out the Switch version. Your mileage will vary based on how much some of this mattered, but if you’re looking to play these in excellent quality I’ll point you in the direction of the PS4 or PC ports.
This deserved to be a home run, and it’s just an okay way to play some great games.
